| Personal Information: My interest in health and fitness started at a young age. I played football and rugby all the way through my teens and still play rugby to this day, favourite position being scrumhalf. I hail from Meath, but have lived in Dublin for the past 6 years, and am currently based in Lucan. I come from a family of 4 children. I learned to be a helicopter mechanic, during my six years in the Air Corps.My interest was taken to the next level when I joined the Irish Defence Forces, starting recruit training at the age of 17… The military life helped me gain the discipline and professionalism, needed to train to the highest level, which I bring to each and every training session I undertake. I have taken part in many triathlons across the country, the first being TriAthy in May 2007. I have played rugby up to semi-provincial level, playing 2 seasons with North Leinster, whilst a junior. During my military career, I worked alongside the Irish Special forces, which took my fitness to another level! This type of high intensity training, ensures that I come to every session with an open mind, partnered with a wealth of ideas!! I have great experience with military style ‘boot camp’ training, skills I use to train and condition teams, and groups of people across Dublin and surrounding areas. |
