Well I’ve just got back from a gruelling hour session with Laura. She weighed and measured me and took my BMI (Body Mass Index) they were all a little high so Laura is starting me off with a little cardio training.

I was on the treadmill for 30 mins during which she had me walk for 2 min jog for 2 mins (I could barely breath after the jogging!!)Also to alternate it a bit she had me on an incline for 10 mins which helps me walk faster on the flat.

I was then moved onto the rowing machine for 10 mins. Laura showed me the correct posture and set it at a challenging setting.

For the last few mins of the session Laura put me on the exercise bike on a gentle setting for about 5 mins the cranked up the difficulty where I had to stand up and really push it I was really starting to “feel the burn” now and was getting very weary. She then stretched me out so that I don’t get too sore the next day.

When we finished Laura and I agreed to meet twice a week and we will work on my cardio and small amount of weight training to help tone. She also gave me a “Homework” sheet to work on at home.

She also gave me a good diet plan which reduces my calorie intake by 20% but I will have a full feeling as I shall be taking the Nutrition X Pro Slim protein shakes and it also helps to repair muscles after training along with a minimum intake of water of 2 litres throughout the day (running to bathroom flashes across my mind at this point) also I’ve to cut out dairy and caffeine products. I also have to keep a food diary of EVERYTHING I eat and drink and not eat anything after 7pm.

To give you an idea this is what I will be eating-

Breakfast : Porridge made with soya milk & caffeine free tea and soya milk

Lunch: Wrap made with chicken lettuce and dressing & caffeine free tea with soya milk and a choc soya yogurt

Late afternoon: Nutrition X Pro Slim Shake

Training (walk/jog home or training with Laura)

Nutrition X Pro Slim Shake

Dinner: cous cous and spiced roast veg

I think that’s it for this post if you have any questions or words of encouragement please do post them I’ll do my best to answer all.
