Myofusion, The Protein
Each Myofusion serving contains 24grams of a protein blend. The blend includes four types of proteins which are whey protein isolates & concentrate – Whey protein is a complete protein which means it contains all the essential amino acids. Whey protein is fast acting usually absorbed within 40 minutes. Egg Albumen & Milk protein isolate which are slower acting proteins, the addition of the latter two is to keep the amino acids levels high in the blood stream until your next meal or shake.
Unlike other blends which claim to be released over 5 – 6 hours Gaspari Myofusion says it will be used up by the body within 2.5 - 3 hours. This makes sense as it is recommended that you eat every 3 – 4 hours when trying to gain muscle.
Along with that Myofusion contains 3 grams of carbohydrates of which 2 grams are sugar and 5 grams of fats. Don’t be turned off by the 5 grams of fats as they are good fats such as CLA (conjugated linoleic acid) which is high in omega 6, Flax seed oil for omega 3 and sunflower seeds which is high in omega 3 also.
The Verdict
The verdict is good. It tastes great, mixes easy, good blend of fast and slow acting proteins and your essential fatty acids so we at Fitness Supplements Vitamins recommend it highly. I have been reading reviews across the net, here are some I have come across:
