And so it begins…

Hi Emma here and this is my first entry :-) Through the blog, I’ll be explaining all my training in preparation for the women’s mini marathon in June. I’ll explain the diet plan and all my up and down days that go with this challenge. Before I started this challenge my training has consisted of walks to and from work which is about an hour and half walking and maybe the odd cycle on the bike for roughly an hour (depending on weather).

My biggest problem however would be getting a good diet and sticking to it, especially if I had a bad day my biggest vice would be the first moment I got I would go out and get chocolate!! Didn’t matter if it was hail rain or snow if I got a pang by God I was going to satisfy it!

I’m meeting Laura Gibson (personal trainer) from Fix my Body next week to show me how to get the best from my exercise and show me how to work with a diet plan that is effective and doesn’t mean I starve!

I guess that’s it for my first entry, my next one will have more detail on the training Laura will have me on and type of diet she will have outlined for me.

I hope with ‘The Better Body Challenge’ I will be able to lose weight, get fit, look and feel great!! And maybe with the results I hope to achieve I will help encourage some of you to look into improving your own health and well being.
